the life drawing group I used to visit was really into “gesture poses” I think they called them. So for a couple hours we would do 5-10-20 min poses. Never could do a longer (2+ hour) pose. I like short poses too but comes a time to really hone your skills you need some 2-3-+ hour sittings. I don’t go so much anymore. Sigh.
