In preparation for art dealer and distributor workshops I drew my friend and rep Doug as Wolverine using watercolor. During my presentations I invited attendees to come up and mess up my drawing which I then proceeded to repair. In time he started to appear as if he was in fact transitioning to Planet of The Apes. Great fun. Hope you had a great Mac DW. One of the few things I truly miss. The wolverine drawings are more interesting than the movie. Beth B
Thanks Beth. I’ll give you a shout out when I traipse through the Twin Cities. I should do transformative drawings of you and The Jay. Cheers.
After seeing that movie Logan and being a long time fan of Wolverine in the comics this series you created caught my eye instantly.
What I was reaching out originally for though is that I’m reading The Art Spirit by Robert Henri and there is this passage that makes me feel like I can imagine walking in your shoes. I am an artist and elementary school art teacher as well but I never sketch people in my travels. If you have that book please reread page 13&14. If not I could take the time to write it down.
Have a good one.
