Herman Melville’s great novel Moby Dick was read aloud, chapter by chapter over 24 hours by a host of folks, including the gent you see here knitting a glove, Benjamin Dionysus, at Chicago’s Newberry Library.
The very handsome cover of the novel Moby Dick with Rockwell Kent’s striking wood engraved illustrations.
Fantastic images! Love how the drawings of the knitter somehow capture the topic being read. I’m sure it’s you being alert and aware. Thanks for the posts. Frank B
Made me feel like I was there. Could smell the wet wool and feel the weather outside.
Frank here said everything I wanted to say. But better. Thanx from a fellow artist and a knitter.

Where are you getting these notebooks? I haven’t seen any notebooks bigger than A5 on the Seven Seas website. I’m sure I could draw like you if I find the right sketchbook. 🙂
They’re not on the Seven Seas website. You’ Only find ‘em on paperforfountainpens.com
