Orvieto. Did the layout and developed the buildings on site. Got to Milano and finally decided to switch from Fountain pen and Pitt Pen Markers to watercolor and lay in the landscape and clouds. Quite the clutz and a bit tight with that medium but this is the year I make a game effort to get comfortable with a medium I am really moved by and in the hands of so many artists I admire can have real zest.

Lucky guy! I’d like you to do some watercolor because it is a particular interest of mine and it would give me a chance to learn especially when you write your comments indicating what went well and what didn’t. Thanks.

Impressive architecture and your renderings of this hillside town are magnificent!
Don, I agree with both Paul and Frank. BEAUTIFUL. You know I LOVE your work and style, very interesting to see the difference with the watercolors.
Happy to see you were able to go back and visit again [and share]. Glad to see you’re posting again. I thank you for all your efforts to put this out. Didn’t realize how quirky it can be and time consuming…and yes time that could be spent creating! Hope you are doing well. Thanks Kym
Magnificant sketchbook paintings!
Amazing watercolor – The buildings … and the sky!
Thank you all, Orvieto is, to say the least, a truly inspirational place.
Beyond that, these social media platforms are a mixed blessing. I have real misgivings about those who own them and write code for their algorithms. Especially some of the nonsense such as the SEO hoops WP makes one jump thru. But I have received real encouragement from many who’ve followed me and your comments are the fuel that rewards me for the investment I have made to date.
Now if you haven’t been to Orvieto, it is my heartiest recommendation that you add it to your bucket list. Read up on it before you go and while you’re there.
