Job Title: Chief Estimator (Structural Steel)
Salary: $$115,000 - $125,000
Location: North Dallas

Your Responsibilities
✔️ Communicate with Owners, Representatives, Fabricators, Contractors, Suppliers & Consultants.
✔️ Coordinate bid preparation & ensure timely submission.
✔️ Assist in budgets, subcontracts, purchase orders & project schedules.
✔️ Ensure a seamless project handoff to the construction team.
✔️ Review specifications, drawings & scope of work.
✔️ Estimate indirect costs (management, equipment, tools).
✔️ Review & finalize proposals before submission.
✔️ Engage in proposal presentations when needed.
✔️ Train & mentor estimating staff.
✔️ Maintain strong relationships with operations teams.
✔️ Prepare budget pricing, unit price schedules & lump sum pricing.
What You Need
✅ 10+ years of steel construction estimating experience.
✅ Strong math & communication skills.
✅ Experience in industrial & commercial structural/miscellaneous construction.
✅ Ability to work quickly & accurately under deadlines.
✅ Knowledge of conceptual estimating & design-build projects.
✅ Strong leadership & business communication skills.
✅ Experience with design models.
✅ Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
