Job Description

Labor Finders has a customer seeking to hire a co-director for their daycare program.  
The candidate will share the responsibility for the day-to- day operations with the preschool's director.  

Salary is based on education, certifications, and work experience. Starting salary is $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
Program management:
Assists with the development and implementation of the policies, and assessments
Staff management:
Helps hire, train, and provide professional development for staff
Facility management :
Ensures the preschool is clean and safe, and that it meets state
Communication :
Works with staff and parents to communicate about the program
Budgeting :
Prepares budgets and allocates funds for programs
Classroom environment :
Helps ensure the classroom is clean, safe, and healthy
Teaching support :
Helps teachers and volunteers follow safety and hygiene standards, are implementing activities as planned 
Child assessment :
Conducts assessments and observations of children
Skills
Critical Thinking:
The ability to make effective decisions about the preschool's academic and business needs
Interpersonal skills:  
The ability to build trust and partnerships with staff, parents, and children
Organization : The ability to keep accurate records about staff and children

Experience:
Must have proven work experience in a daycare setting
Preferred 2 years experience
