Responsibilities include developing strategies to enhance care quality, improve health outcomes, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, healthcare providers, and external stakeholders to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in healthcare delivery. The Director will develop and implement comprehensive quality strategies aligned with MedStar's mission and goals, lead teams, and utilize data analytics to monitor performance and drive improvements. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive quality improvement strategy aligned with organizational goals. Identify improvement areas, set measurable objectives, and establish performance metrics. Lead quality initiatives related to HEDIS, NCQA, EQRO, and other accreditation standards. Utilize data analytics to analyze healthcare data, identify trends, and inform performance initiatives. Create reports, dashboards, and scorecards to track quality metrics and outcomes. Oversee audits and evaluations by external agencies such as EQRO and NCQA. Promote a culture of continuous improvement through staff training and engagement. Coordinate studies and evaluations to meet regulatory and organizational standards. Supervise vendor performance and develop corrective action plans as needed. Develop and deliver provider scorecards and education to promote quality goals. Collaborate with IT and data teams to develop performance reports. Lead wellness and preventive care program development and implementation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in healthcare; Master’s preferred. BSN and RN license in DC preferred. 5-7 years of quality improvement experience in a health plan or MCO, with supervisory experience. Active DC RN license and BLS required; CPHQ certification preferred. Additional Details This position requires working 4 days onsite in DC.
