Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr Event Experience Designer PRA is the market-leading business event management firm, delivering unique experiences that move hearts, minds and businesses forward. Applicants must reside in Hawaii to be considered for this role. Responsibilities Main POC for Sales and Creative Team during a program's bidding and proposal phase Operational tasks, including vendor outreach for inventory questions/quantities, and venue outreach for event space Build out costing sheets and oversee budget development while identifying opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings on all events Responsible for the development of quote line-item details, costing and pricing in alignment with program development vision, sales and creative strategies, and client specifications. Create initial costing for your assigned group and manage vendor outreach for rentals, AV, and entertainment Support Event Producers with branding, installations or custom builds Develop a detailed Event Blueprint for each assigned program Create and manage a decor & inventory pull list for each assigned program Research, develop and maintain business relationships with suppliers/partners Manage and update vendor/supplier and venue/hotel lists Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Event Management of corporate meetings, client events, and other complex programs. DMC, corporate incentive travel, hospitality or related experience highly preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse group of vendors and coworkers. Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines. Strong ability to meet deadlines, recognizing their importance in ensuring the smooth execution of event timelines. Experience creating and managing event budgets. Experience negotiating and managing vendor contracts to stay within budget. Strong attention to detail to ensure budgets and financial costing sheets are accurate and reliable.
