Base pay range $83.00/hr - $91.00/hr Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Jersey City, NJ that is seeking a Golang Developer. Responsibilities include writing source code, adapting existing components, and testing developed components. The Golang Developer will also ensure designs meet performance, security, usability, reliability, and scalability requirements, and will design, develop, maintain, and execute test cases for the applications. Requirements BS or above in Computer Science or related field 10+ years of professional Golang or Java Development experience with 3+ of those involving RESTful web services Experience architecting and implementing customer-facing user interfaces, REST services, third-party integrations, tools, in previous full-stack development roles Experience documenting REST APIs and code generation Open API standards and tools (Swagger). Understands good REST API design practices Working understanding of Agile methodology Ability to investigate, isolate, and solve technical issues across the full technology stack by using automated & manual testing methodologies Advanced skills in scripting languages for automation Experience in a DevOps environment using CI/CD tools; Experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy are a plus Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams across the organization Ability to work in a fast paced, highly matrix environment to achieve group goals Desire and aptitude for learning innovative technologies Great understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms to ensure alignment to software engineering methodologies The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
