Hostlers are critical to our success at FritoLay! Our Hostlers are responsible for working closely with warehouse operations to move and load trailers around the warehouse. Although you will start out as a Hostler for FritoLay, we are investing in helping you grow with us. This job can open the door to career opportunities with us or our parent company, PepsiCo. In this role, here are some of the frequent tasks you will be doing: Moving trailers from lot to dock doors and back to lot as directed Work with supervisor to move raw material loads to doors as needed Install and remove trailer stands as necessary Stage pallet and load into truck when ready Maintain proper housekeeping and sanitation as needed We operate 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule, and our jobs are physical! If you have never worked in this kind of role before, you should understand that you will be on your feet for the entirety of your shift moving product around. Here are the minimum qualifications of this job: You are at least 21 years of age or older You possess a valid Class "A" commercial driver's license You will be required to work on some weekends, holidays as well as off shift You can lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation You are able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation You have the ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation You are willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces As a full-time team member, you will be eligible to receive full company benefits.
