Job Description

Piper Companies is hiring a Jr. Recruiter on the IT staffing team in our Tysons, VA office. This candidate will have the opportunity to join and contribute to a well-established team and earn generous, uncapped commission!

Responsibilities of the Jr. Recruiter:

  • Identify and engage with technical job seekers in the DC and Northern Virginia market.
  • Match candidates to job openings available at our clients.
  • Post jobs through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), review applicants, and screen for technical fit.
  • Manage the full recruiting life cycle from initial point of contact to the end of their contract or engagement with us, including submitting to the hiring manager, preparing candidates for interviews, negotiating salary, checking references, assisting with onboarding, and more.

Qualifications of the Jr. Recruiter:

  • 1-2 years of IT recruitment experience, specifically within a staffing agency rather than corporate/internal
  • Competitiveness and high level of money motivation
  • Coachability and eagerness to learn
  • Positive attitude and resilience
  • Ability to work on-site in our Tysons office 4 days per week (100% or predominantly remote candidates will not be considered)

Compensation & Benefits for the Jr. Recruiter:

  • Salary Range: $55,000/year

· Commission : Uncapped (tiered plan; more spread = higher commission percentage)
