Job Summary: Under the direction of the Business Process Lead, the Junior Business Intelligence Analyst assists in financial analysis and process improvement. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams and ensures accurate documentation and recordkeeping. Principle Responsibilities: Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing insights to management for strategic decision-making. Assist with financial planning and modeling. Process Improvement: Under the direction of the Business Process Lead, continuously assess and improve processes and procedures to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, implement robotic process automation, and maintain data integrity. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and operations, to gather relevant information and ensure accurate financial reporting. Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring documentation is complete and readily accessible for audits and internal reviews. Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management, providing financial expertise and support as needed. Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on financial data accuracy and validation. Strong organizational and time management skills; demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with internal and external partners. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP). Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally across various teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL, Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, strongly preferred. Work Experience: 2+ years experience in Finance or a related field, or commensurate combination of education and experience; experience with data warehouse management and robotic process automation preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, including the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends. Experience in a highly regulated industry preferred. Training and Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics or a related field preferred; Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Complete all required training as assigned. Working Environment and Requirements to Perform Job Responsibilities Ability to work full-time (average of 40-hours per week). Ability to work in a shared office, private office, and/or cubicle in accordance with job duties and responsibilities. Ability to be on location and/or assigned confidential location(s) for client services for all work hours. Effective with shifting roles, responsibilities, and expectations in a changing work environment. Ability to see computer screen, read, and complete forms Ability to lift up to 10 pounds with the ability to push, pull, bend, reach, and sit. Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time/work at a desk. Ability to answer the phone in a busy environment - hear callers and be responsive.
