Position Summary

We are on the lookout for a full-time, year-round Lift Maintenance Supervisor to join our Mountain Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Lift Maintenance Manager to ensure the safety and reliability of our lifts. Your responsibilities will include monitoring, maintaining, and repairing lift equipment in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations. You will also lead a crew of 8-10 employees, planning and assigning work, training, evaluating performance, and more.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Planning, supervising, and coordinating lift inspections, maintenance, and repair operations.
• Maintaining and repairing all lift equipment, from conveyors to high-speed detachable quads.
• Performing line, drive, and return checks, making necessary adjustments.
• Conducting regular maintenance and inspections during the winter season, as well as responding to lift breakdowns.
• Thoroughly inspecting all lift components during the summer season, including tower work and grip and chair maintenance.
• Working on hydraulic systems, braking systems, rigging, and engines up to 900 Hp, as well as low voltage safety circuits.

Qualifications We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience as a lift mechanic.
• Strong supervisory and training skills with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent mechanical, rigging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with detachable lifts is a plus.
• Ability to work under timelines and pressure.
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a larger team.
• Adherence to all safety policies and procedures is a must.
• Ability to climb and work at substantial heights and in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift and carry loads up to 100 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays.
• Strong recognition of safety concerns and established protocols.
