Job Title: Research Associate III (Organic Chemistry)

Role Overview:
The Research Associate III will provide analytical and technical support for nitrosamines and impurities analysis. This hands-on, laboratory-based role involves daily on-site work at the Round Lake facility, supporting method development, chemical analysis, and regulatory compliance within a cross-functional team environment .
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform chemical analyses for nitrosamines and impurities using LC/MS/MS, wet chemistry, and sample preparation techniques.
· Conduct solid-phase extraction (SPE) and liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) for nitrosamines studies.
· Plan, execute, and troubleshoot experiments related to nitrosamines and extractables & leachables (E&L) analysis.
· Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mass spectrometry instrumentation.
· Lead method development and optimization using LC/MS/MS.
· Analyze, interpret, and report scientific data with sound experimental documentation.
· Contribute to and author technical reports, summaries, protocols, and SOPs.
· Document lab activities using electronic laboratory notebooks in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
· Support lab safety, compliance, and cleanliness following EHS&S and internal quality guidelines.
· Communicate project status, findings, and technical information effectively across teams .
Education:
PhD (0–3 years’ experience), or master’s degree (3–5 years), or Bachelor’s degree (5–7 years) in Chemistry or related field (Analytical/Organic Chemistry preferred)
