Senior Quality Engineer - $65k - $75k

Essential Functions:

• Work closely with (internal) production to ensure quality of product.
• Introduce and improve systems and technologies for internal production.
• Make quality decisions on suspect parts.
• Help set up internal quality standards.
• Serve customer needs relating to internally produced products, including correspondence, quality issues, policy matters, and other concerns that may arise during business.
• Complete appropriate documentation as required.
• Assist in establishing Cpk & force testing data.
• Experience and knowledge of IATF 16949.
• All other duties assigned.

Preferred Education:

• Four-year technical degree or equivalent related experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 3-5 years of previous experience.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language both verbally and in writing with customers, vendors, and associates.
• Previous production/production-support experience.
• ISO/TS experience preferred.
• Must be very analytical with a high degree of concentration to interpret blueprints, reports, and analytical data.
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability to determine probable cause, resolution, and corrective action plans.
• Must be able to travel offsite on overnight trips.
• Experience in common business software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc.
