Senior Staff Accountant
Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15222 (Hybrid)
Compensation: $80,000-$95,000

CFS is partnering with a rapidly growing healthcare organization in search of a Senior Staff Accountant to join their expanding team. Key responsibilities for the Senior Staff Accountant Role:

  • Fixed assets management: maintain the fixed asset module, including tracking asset transfers, transitioning assets from CIP/ANPIS to in-service, managing depreciation and write-offs, and preparing the fixed asset.

  • Month-end close and reporting: prepare journal entries and reconciliations for expense allocations, accrued liabilities, and healthcare revenue; support accurate and timely financial reporting

  • Operational expense (OPEX) analysis: compile and analyze supply expense data, maintain reporting for accrued liabilities, and assist with operational expense reviews

  • Utility expense oversight: manage the utility spreadsheet and autopay setup; coordinate with the operational team and leaders for payment setups and escalations related to new site openings

  • Accounts receivable and intercompany balances: track and update tenant improvement (TI) receivables in Salesforce to support collection efforts; reconcile and manage intercompany AP/AR balances

  • Corporate card and budget support: assist with p-card requests and budget-related inquiries across departments

  • Financial dashboards and reporting: build and maintain dashboards and key reports to provide visibility into financial and operational performance

  • Tax compliance: coordinate the timely payment of business personal property taxes with internal stakeholders

  • Audit and process improvement: support internal and external audits; identify opportunities for automation and enhanced accounting processes

Qualifications of the Senior Staff Accountant Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

  • 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience; healthcare industry experience is a plus

  • Multi-location, multi-entity, or intercompany accounting experience required

  • Proficiency with accounting systems (experience with NetSuite is a big plus) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
