Job Title: Industrial Sewing Professional
Arrow Staffing is seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Sewing Professional to join a great company in Kentwood, MI. This is a full-time, Temp to Hire position with a focus on quality and productivity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, willing to learn, and has a strong background in industrial sewing.
Shift Details
First Shift: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Sew pre-cut fabric, vinyl, or non-woven materials according to defined patterns.
Operate and maintain sewing machines, including setting up as needed.
Monitor quality standards and ensure that products meet all specifications.
Mark and layout patterns on materials, using scissors or electric knives to cut materials as needed.
Complete required documentation accurately by reading, counting, and writing.
Report any product, material, or process issues to the Engineering team.
Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
Job Requirements
Previous industrial sewing experience, ideally in upholstery or manufacturing.
Physical stamina for tasks involving extended periods of manual work.
Ability to follow written instructions and interpret production orders.
Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must pass a background check, drug screening, and physical.
Adherence to all company safety guidelines.
