SUMMARY

The MedSpa Manager is a dynamic leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of Spa Belle La Vie’s operations, including staff management, client satisfaction, financial performance, and marketing initiatives. This individual plays a vital part in creating a world-class spa experience, ensuring exceptional service standards, and driving growth and innovation. As a key contributor to the success of Plastic Surgery of Tuscaloosa and its partnership with Ascend Aesthetic Partners, the MedSpa Manager will foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, align operational goals with strategic objectives, and continuously elevate the spa's reputation as a premier destination for aesthetic treatments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise MedSpa personnel including estheticians, nurses, and administrative staff.
  • Develop and implement staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all services.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any disciplinary issues in a timely manner.

Customer Service:

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor service quality and ensure adherence to established protocols and standards.
  • Foster a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients, ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the MedSpa, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and facility cleanliness.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance measures.
  • Develop and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and customer service delivery.

Compliance and Regulation:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, including licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and privacy laws.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory updates to maintain a competitive edge and mitigate risk.
  • Adhere to facility policies and protocols.
  • Understand the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Advanced knowledge of the types of services and treatments offered at the Medical Spa.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a managerial role within the healthcare or beauty industry.

SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of medical spa treatments, skincare products, and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and patient care.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and to talk and hear. Employees may be occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, employees may be exposed to risk of infectious diseases when interacting with patients and/or family members. The employee may be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
