Job Duties:  

Medline Industries, LP in Northfield, IL is seeking experienced Sr. IS Business Intelligence Analyst(s) to analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to assist with developing and implementing software solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of business intelligence and quantitative analytical principles and concepts, and experience with business intelligence tools, to perform the position's duties.

Job responsibilities and duties include:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and solutions for business needs.

Create and optimize data models, extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources, and delivering insights and reports using data visualization tools.

Collaborate with other data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability.

Design and implement ETL process, including data capture, data quality, cleansing, testing, and validation methods.

Develop standards, policies, and procedures for data integration-related activities.

Review BI enhancements during all project phases requirements gathering, design, testing, implementation, and issue resolution.

Work closely with the team to ensure on-time delivery of quality solutions with minimal rework.

Responsible for driving continuous improvement within the team processes and deliverables.

Develop and document use cases when necessary.

Assist with QA testing when necessary.

This position has no direct reports and does not supervise the work of any other employees

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence or Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related IT field of study, plus at least three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained.

In lieu of the above-stated primary education and experience requirements, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence or Analytics, Computer

Science, Software Engineering, or any related IT field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s) in which the

required experience was gained.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:

1. SQL

2.R

3. Python

4. Tableau

5. Two or more of the following: Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, SSIS or Azure Data Services.

No travel required. Hybrid work environment with work from Home (WFH) benefit available some days

• Salary: $138,715/per year
