We are Houston's first and only Black Owned winery in Downtown Houston and opening our second location in Dallas!! Located in the Victory Park district and within walking distance of American Airlines Center, Pur Noire Urban Wineries & Tasting Room will be downtown Dallas' newest tasting room. We are scheduled to open our doors in June 2024, and there is a lot of excitement surrounding our growing brand! Our anticipated hours of operation are 1:00 pm to 9:00/10:00 pm daily. We are currently putting together a great team of Tasting Room associates that will conduct wine tastings for our customers and sale the Pur Noire brand! During the tastings you would provide impeccable service, educate the guests on our wines and sale the Pur Noire brand! The ideal candidate will be friendly, reliable, and have experience selling wine. WSET Level 2 certificate or an equivalent certificate is preferred but all employees will receive training. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine and people. This person would want to build a career in the wine industry and grow with our rapidly growing company. Responsibilities Include: Customer Facing Guided Wine Tastings Presenting Wines Selling the Pur Noire Brand Special Events Payment Processing Inventory Recording Minimum Qualifications Highschool Diploma or GED 1 year of Sales Experience WSET 2, Equivalent Certificate, or 1 year of Winery or Tasting Room Experience If youre interested in this position, please send a resume and two references. Tasting Room associates receive a base pay of at least $14 an hour depending on their experience (once a 90 day probationary period has passed). They also receive, tips, and commission on wine sales. Our associates average between $20 - $26 per hour in total compensation.
