Wire EDM Programmer/Operator

Pay Rate:
$25–$35 per hour (Based on Experience)

Job Overview:
As an EDM Machinist Programmer , you will play a critical role in setting up, programming, and operating a Swiss style traveling EDM flushing machine (non-submergible) using ESPRIT software. You will work closely with the progressive tool and die team and contribute your milling and machining skills to ensure precision and production excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set Up & Program: Set up and program Swiss-style traveling EDM machines using ESPRIT software .
• Operate Machines: Operate EDM equipment efficiently while maintaining precision and quality standards.
• Support Tool & Die Work: Collaborate with the progressive tool and die team to produce high-quality components.
• Milling Operations: Perform milling and other machining tasks to support production requirements.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on EDM machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
• Precision Work: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Safety & Organization: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as an EDM Operator, particularly with Swiss-style machines.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in ESPRIT software for machine programming.
• Tool & Die Knowledge: Solid understanding of progressive tool and die machining processes.
• Machining Expertise: Strong machining and milling experience.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to Detail: High level of precision, accuracy, and quality control.
