Delaware North's Patina Restaurant Group is hiring apart-time Server to join our team at Patina 250

in Buffalo, New York. As a Server, you will have the privilege of representing our restaurant and creating lasting impressions through your exceptional service, making each guest feel valued and satisfied. Hours: Breakfast 6:30am - 11am / Lunch 10:30am - 4:00pm

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn't include any potential tipped earnings.

Unit Description

Patina 250 offers fresh, thoughtful, flavor-infused variations of the authentic tastes of Western New York. The restaurant, located in The Westin Buffalo, offers a refined, welcoming atmosphere to enjoy drinks, shared plates, or a full dining experience. Local artists' work contributes to the modern mood with paintings, elaborate light fixtures, and sculptural wall installation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and attend to guests' needs, provide menus and clearly communicate restaurant specials, answering menu questions, and collecting food and beverage orders
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures
• Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver the check to guests
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers, kitchen and bar staff
• Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
• 2 year's experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as standing, walking, bending for long periods of time, which may include walking up stairs
• Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks
