About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer to join its National team and support the organization's growth and expansion. The successful candidate will be a strategic business leader with a strong background in information technology management, including IT workflow, applications, infrastructure, and systems design. Key responsibilities for the CIO include leading IT strategic and operational planning, managing the evaluation and maintenance of existing systems, identifying opportunities for cost-effective IT investments, and ensuring the integrity and security of data and systems. The role also involves developing and maintaining an appropriate IT organizational structure, supervising the IT team, and providing guidance on IT needs to other programs and departments. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' experience in IT management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role, and a proven track record of aligning technology strategies with business goals. Experience in the non-profit or workforce development sectors is preferred. The CIO will be expected to have a thorough understanding of cybersecurity risks and mitigation options, as well as expertise in key application and collaboration platforms. Excellent project management skills, the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, and a strong team player with effective communication skills are essential. The role requires a leader who can foster innovation, prioritize IT initiatives, and ensure the continuous delivery of IT services to meet the expanding technology needs of the organization.
