💼 Position: Structural Steel Estimator
📍 Location: Chatsworth, CA 91311
⏰ Employment Type: Full-time
What You’ll Do:
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for structural steel projects including misc. steel and field erection.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Evaluate drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine material and labor costs.
• Identify potential risks, propose value engineering solutions, and optimize project budgets.
• Maintain updated knowledge of market trends, material prices, and lead times.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Experience: Minimum 2yrs. in structural steel estimation or related field.
✅ Skills: Proficiency in estimation software such as Tekla, FabSuite, or Bluebeam.
✅ Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
✅ Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate effectively with teams and clients.
